DANIEL RETURNS

I need all the prayer in the world right now! I am angry and fustrated and am throwing my hands up. Some of you may know that Daniel is my step son whom I helped raise since he was 18 months old. Daniel has also had his share of Drugs, alcohol, jail and you can only imagine. Four years ago Daniel ran away and was in and out of re-hab homes. He has screwed every family member except for the "Maxwell's" whom I told him to stay away! I do not trust him, I don't want to see him and I deffidentely don't want to hear his voice. He has screwed me over, cost me $1,000's of dollars and I don't want him around my children! I have asked for forgiveness many times, but when I hear of him I cringe! Daniel is a drop out as of 8th grade. He tells you exactly what you want to hear before he gets ready to SHIT on you. On Sunday night this past weekend the phone rang and Eddie answered it. It was Daniel. Daniel has cried wolf so Eddie is there to bail him out and to satisfy his needs. he had enough nerve to ask if Daniel can come back home to live with us! Daniel is going to be 19 on November 9th. I said, "Absolutely NOT! He is an adult and he made his bed and he needs to lie in it. " Eddie and I fought till 1pm. I am so ready to seriously leave and take my boys with me and never come home! I told Eddie that if Daniel steps foot in my house I will file for a Divorce. I have way too many helath problems to half to deal with his BULL SHIT!! Why me!!! I wasn't raised this way. Why me??? I have given up! Well it is now Thursday and Eddie has mentioned that he is picking Daniel up tomorrow morning in Ontario and he is meeting the EX wife. He made arrangements for Daniel to stay at In His Steps here in Ramona. Personally, it is too close. He could of just stayed there in Bakersfield and not come anywhere near us! the judge again slapped his little paws for crimes that he has committed. I do not understand why he gets off on every offense that he does. I am tired of being associated with him. I am embarrassed! So please pray for peace and for me to somehow get through this with out falling apart. And Eddie wonders why I like to drink. Hello!!!! I want all this bad stuff to go away! I am reliving the past from when Eddie and I met and I do not want to go back. GOD HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Follow-up Doctor Appointment

Ok, so today was my follow up appointment with my doctor for my previous diagnoise of Vericos Veins in the Uterus and my sises that keep growing. I also spoke to him about a sudden knumbness in my left leg that lasted about 48 hours. Throbbing and kinda a dead drop leg. Although I have always had pain off and on in this leg, the knumbess goes from my thigh to my calf and relates to a deep feeling charlie horse. Eddie keeps scaring me about all this stuff on the news that they are talking about with Yasmin and Ocella. This is the pill I was on for almost a year. I have expierenced about 5 of the severe side effects. Well yesterday a new release was announced on tv about "Deep Vein Thrombosis" So this morning, I brought this up to my doctor and he is ordering me a MRI. Although he doesn't believe that the Insurance will approve it, he is going to give it a try. In the meantime, he has mentioned that I take 1 asprin a day. Well, what are you to do except pray that all will be well and that GOD is in control. Sleep tight for now. Tammy

Preschool

Ryan is currently attending Ramona Lutheran Pre-school. There are many children in which he already knows who are in his classroom. The teacher's adore him. As you may already know this is Ryan's second attempt at a pre-school. The first pre-school kicked him out because he was a safety hazard. Ryan is really adjusting well here at Ramona Lutheran. I was quite shocked to receive a second bill from Ramona Lutheran for extended care. When totally the tuition and the extended care, the average monthly bill would be $694.00. This is way out of our budget. I immediately went to the manager and told her our delima. I explained to her that this is not what was explained to me. She suggested that I sumbit a request in reduction for monthly expenses. I went home and drafted my letter and sent it to them immediately. They would have to bring it up to the board for approval and it would be till October 15th. Well the 16th rolled around and I still hadn't heard from anyone so I called the office. Just what I thought, they turned me down. So I gave them a two weeks notice. It turned out that the teachers were not aware and that the manager took this into her own hands. I have since referred two people to that school and still have not received my credit. I have made arrangements for Ryan to attend Little People's effective November 1st. The school has since called to try to re-neogiate, but I have such a sour taste and trust issue that we are moving onto a different pre-school. With the school closed so many days, I would pay more out of my pocket for extended alternative day care and Eddie is loosing 10% pay effective January 1st. I think this decision is for the best. I just feel again for poor Ryan having to re-locate again. I can not tell you how excited I will be once he is in Kindgarten.

Ovarian Cycsts

Secondly, the doctor has located two small Cysts. Although he did not go into detail as to what kind, he did say that it is not cancer and not to worry. My body will eventually pass them.

Ovarian Cysts Overview

Ovarian cysts are small fluid-filled sacs that develop in a woman's ovaries. Most cysts are harmless, but some may cause problems such as rupturing, bleeding, or pain; and surgery may be required to remove the cyst(s). It is important to understand how these cysts may form.
Women normally have two ovaries that store and release eggs. Each ovary is about the size of a walnut, and one ovary is located on each side of the uterus. One ovary produces one egg each month, and this process starts a woman's monthly menstrual cycle. The egg is enclosed in a sac called a follicle. An egg grows inside the ovary until estrogen (a hormone), signals the uterus to prepare itself for the egg. In turn, the uterus begins to thicken itself and prepare for pregnancy. This cycle occurs each month and usually ends when the egg is not fertilized. All contents of the uterus are then expelled if the egg is not fertilized. This is called a menstrual period.
In an ultrasound image, ovarian cysts resemble bubbles. The cyst contains only fluid and is surrounded by a very thin wall. This kind of cyst is also called a functional cyst, or simple cyst. If a follicle fails to rupture and release the egg, the fluid remains and can form a cyst in the ovary. This usually affects one of the ovaries. Small cysts (smaller than one-half inch) may be present in a normal ovary while follicles are being formed.
Ovarian cysts affect women of all ages. The vast majority of ovarian cysts are considered functional (or physiologic). In other words, they have nothing to do with disease. Most ovarian cysts are benign, meaning they are not cancerous, and many disappear on their own in a matter of weeks without treatment. Cysts occur most often during a woman's childbearing years.
Ovarian cysts can be categorized as noncancerous or cancerous growths. While cysts may be found in ovarian cancer, ovarian cysts typically represent a normal process or harmless (benign) condition.
All of the following conditions are noncancerous, or benign, ovarian growths or cysts. A woman may develop one or more of them.
Follicular cyst: This type of simple cyst can form when ovulation does not occur or when a mature follicle involutes (collapses on itself). It usually forms at the time of ovulation and can grow to about 2.3 inches in diameter. The rupture of this type of cyst can create sharp severe pain on the side of the ovary on which the cyst appears. This sharp pain (sometimes called mittelschmerz) occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle, during ovulation. About one-fourth of women with this type of cyst experience pain. Usually, these cysts produce no symptoms and disappear by themselves within a few months. A woman's doctor monitors these to make sure they disappear and looks at treatment options if they do not.
Corpus luteum cyst: This type of functional ovarian cyst occurs after an egg has been released from a follicle. After this happens, the follicle becomes what is known as a corpus luteum. If a pregnancy doesn't occur, the corpus luteum usually breaks down and disappears. It may, however, fill with fluid or blood and persist on the ovary. Usually, this cyst is found on only one side and produces no symptoms.
Hemorrhagic cyst: This type of functional cyst occurs when bleeding occurs within a cyst. Symptoms such as abdominal pain on one side of the body may be present with this type of cyst.
Dermoid cyst: This is an abnormal cyst that usually affects younger women and may grow to 6 inches in diameter. It is a type of benign tumor sometimes referred to as mature cystic teratoma. This cyst is similar to those present on skin tissue and can contain fat and occasionally bone, hair, and cartilage.
The ultrasound image of this cyst type can vary because of the spectrum of contents, but a CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can show the presence of fat and dense calcifications.
They can become inflamed. They can also twist around (a condition known as ovarian torsion), causing severe abdominal pain.
Endometriomas or endometrioid cysts: Part of the condition known as endometriosis, this type of cyst is formed when endometrial tissue (the mucous membrane that makes up the inner layer of the uterine wall) grows in the ovaries. It affects women during the reproductive years and may cause chronic pelvic pain associated with menstruation.
Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial glands and tissue outside the uterus.
Women with endometriosis may have problems with fertility.
Endometrioid cysts, often filled with dark, reddish-brown blood, may range in size from 0.75-8 inches.
Polycystic-appearing ovary: Polycystic-appearing ovary is diagnosed based on its enlarged size - usually twice that of normal - with small cysts present around the outside of the ovary. This condition can be found in "normal" women, and in women with endocrine disorders. An ultrasound is used to view the ovary in diagnosing this condition.
Polycystic-appearing ovary is different from the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which includes other symptoms and physiological abnormalities in addition to the presence of ovarian cysts. Polycystic ovarian syndrome involves metabolic and cardiovascular risks linked to insulin resistance. These risks include increased glucose tolerance, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is associated with infertility, abnormal bleeding, increased incidences of miscarriage, and pregnancy-related complications.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is extremely common and is thought to occur in 4%-7% of women of reproductive age and is associated with an increased risk for endometrial cancer.
More tests than an ultrasound alone are required to diagnose polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Cystadenoma: A cystadenoma is a type of benign tumor that develops from ovarian tissue. They may be filled with a mucous-type fluid material. Cystadenomas can become very large and may measure 12 inches or more in diameter.

What are Varicose Veins on the Uterus?

After all of these years the doctor finally has an answer to all of my pain in my uterus? Here is what he has to say....

What are Varicose Veins on the Uterus?

When you think of varicose veins, you usually think about them in terms of unsightly blue lines that appear on your legs or arms and can make you feel less self-confident about your physical appearance. The facts are that there are other locations on the body for the varicose veins to appear. For instance, you might get varicose veins on the uterus, which is something that you may not realize you have until you have tests at your doctor's office that will reveal the condition. Treatment Usually, the treatments for curing varicose veins are all fairly simple and mostly non-invasive. There are lotions and creams that you can apply to your skin to shrink the veins with external treatment. If this type of treatment is not effective, then you can look to surgeries and laser treatments, as a means of curing the varicose veins by eliminating them completely. However, with varicose veins on the uterus you cannot consider the option of topical treatments, so laser treatments are generally going to be your best option for these types of varicose vein conditions. If you think that you have varicose veins on the uterus, you should make an appointment with your doctor to confirm your suspicions and discuss treatment options. Even though these types of varicose veins are not usually dangerous or threatening in any way, they can lead to complications during pregnancy on occasion. If you are thinking about becoming pregnant, it is a good idea to talk to your doctor about whether you might need to worry about varicose veins on the uterus even before that stick turns pink.
Varicose veins on the uterus are something that doctors will routinely check for in most women, especially in women who are pregnant. If your doctor has told you that you have them, but has not suggested any treatment, it is probably because he is not concerned about the possibility of complications due to the condition. It is a good idea to ask your doctor about your varicose veins on the uterus periodically in this case, to ensure that they have not progressed to a point where you should seek treatment. For example, if the condition begins to cause you any sort of discomfort, treatment might then become the logical course of action. Keep in mind that varicose veins on the uterus are generally not going to cause any health issues for most women who have them. If you are concerned however, you should speak with your doctor. Ask him about the type of varicose veins on the uterus that you have, and whether you should seek any type of treatment for them. Your doctor is your best line of defense in dealing wisely with your varicose veins on the uterus.

Insurance Claim

So, just when we thought our Insurance Claim issues were over, we get an itemized invoice in the mail for our review from the Contractor. As Eddie and I were reviewing the paperwork, it appeared that there are items listed that were not even completed, nor did we know were going to be completed. Eddie contacted the Contractor and asked him to revise the invoice because there are items that were not performned. Or you can cut us a check for the difference. Well, the Contractor has agreed to fullfill his obligation and to complete everything that was questionable. So, on Friday I will now have a fully painted kitchen! Nothing like short notice. So, the question is, "What color do I paint it?"

Women's Camping Retreat - September 2009

This year's camping trip with Mountain View Community Church was held at the Pinzenatia Campground in Julian. What a wonderful time to fellowship with other women. I had the opportunity to witness and to grow relationships with many new women whom I had just met. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Not too cold and not too hot. Our guest speaker was Lori Bassham speaking on "Clay In The Hands Of The Potter." She talked about how GOD is in control and how we need to surrender to HIM. How we need to not worry what tomorrow brings. This really hits home. I am and have always been a complete worrier. My mom is the same way. I am always trying to fix the problems. I even go to bed worring about the stupidist things. On Sunday my husband Eddie arrived to hook up the trailer to go home. My son Tyler who is 7, is in the car balling his eyes out. He is holding his chest saying that he is having a heart attack! We hurried and hooked the trailer up, said good bye and headed home and then to the urgent care facility to get him checked out. The pain is coming and going Mommy. Although he was able to breath fine and had no temperature, I needed to get him checked out. I have a history of Mitra-valve Prolaps. A somwhat Anxiety problem where my valve to my heart is in larged and with too much excitement I have what resembles heart attacks. If not taken care of properly can result in death. Tye not to panic Tyler. Breath in and out, we will be there soon honey. By the time we got to Urgent care, he had already calmned down. His heart rate was good and his O2 was 98. Which is awesome. The doc said not only did he have alot of excitement, but it appears he has an upper respotory infection. Well, Tyler will be fine, but what I have relized is that I am rubbing off on the kids and I need to let go and let GOD handle everything for me. I need to stop being in control and worring about every little thing. Thank you very much Lori for opening my eyes to a problem that I need to put a stop too. I know that this road for me will be hard, I can do anything with Christ who strengthens me.
